Sewing for Change - Funded by Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration


Free Sewing Classes for Women in the Parkdale Area, run by local sewer, designers, team leaders and volunteers.  Individuals will learn to use a sewing machine, basic sewing skills which include machine skills, zippers, hand sewing, patterns, etc.  

Applications are closed!  

Classes begin on January 27 for 7 weeks.  They will be held in the Parkdale Public Library and there is childcare if needed.  

Classes have been meeting and there has been a wonderful turn out - 20 women are in the class and 25 people are on the wait list!
