THIS DAY IS SHARED WITH 100 000 Poets for Change - 

2:00   Opening Ceremonies - Indigenous Elder, Greenest City and local musicians led by Heinz Klein

2:30 Free Community Art Workshops - music, dance, poetry, storytelling.  You will have the chance to co-create with other performers to perform during the day or learn a new craft

4:00 Local Performances - Dance, poetry, music, formal storytelling by Indigenous Leader Johl from Nish Dish

5pm Making Room Art Installation - A live installation at the Milky Way to celebrate the final Weaving Stories series.  Beautifully decorated, with Gather Round Singers, and an opportunity to interact with meaningful stories from community members in the space

6:00 Potluck at 87 Milky Way garden - bring your dishes, a dish to share, and a story

7:30 Parkdale Video Buffet - Curated by Film Documentary film makers, we will be showcasing short videos from local Parkdale video makers (enter vimeo or youtube to communications@greenestcity.ca by September 15)
